Travelodge by Wyndham San Antonio Lackland AFB

I don’t know what others are complaining about , you pay for what you get!! This place was better than others around there and for the price you couldn’t beat it. If people want the Hilton then they should fork out the funds to go, by all means no one is stopping you. I loved the service at front desk Bobbie was wonderful thanks for everything she was quick and precise even went out of her way to make sure my family was comfortable. And Jay he was at first what seemed to be rude, was me misunderstanding our cultural differences Then he was great he was a savior in the end. Again if you want something low budget and staff is friendly then travelodge is where to go. They are renovating right now can’t wait to stop by again on my way through hopefully they’re finished with the upgrades. So this is to be continued

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff at the front desk are less than friendly. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. The steps are a complete disaster, an injury waiting to happen. We have stayed in the same room for the last 3 nights and the biggest complaint we have is the bed. It's completely wore out. The bed is warped and very springy. It needs to be replaced and when addressing the staff about it, no response.

Normally I don't do reviews but this service was too good not to. I highly recommend staying here especially for small families or couples the service is amazing especially if you have the pleasure of speaking with Bobbi. She was able to get my situation handled and she gave me the best care. Absolutely amazing site! If you're passing by you should definitely stay here! (They made me leave this review in order to give me a better price but do not believe it this place is gross and the staff and manager/owner are not pleasant)

First time here, pretty good. Staff is nice, the rooms are clean. Only small issues, at first our toilet and shower wasn’t working. But after we stepped out. Housekeeping must of turned them on cause they worked perfect afterwards. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great I needed a good place to relax. Despite the slightly unclean room. I enjoyed the hotel. I still have not received the deposit through a card. I should receive it tomorrow. I stayed last week hopefully they are honest. I left a Bluetooth speaker and I received it back. Thank you staff. Hopefully it was the staff that works there. And hopefully no one bugged my devices. I didn't use the wifi there at the hotel.

I would Ike to give an amazing review towards this hotel. Always my number one choice and this time around it's a full thank you too Bobby at the front desk . Always willing to help regardless of the circumstances. Will always return because of the service

My expectations werent the highest however the room itself was clean there wasnt any bugs or anything gross, and smelt really really good the bathroom wasnt the nicest kinda looked run down but im not super picky, the guests there were not the greatest constant people outside our room and walking all around above us and around all night but the one thing I cannot complain about is the service! I was traveling as a woman with another woman and our window wasnt locking which we told them right away we felt unsafe the manager instantly told us the woman who stay here are a big priority got it fixed instantly. Third night we stayed people were outside knocking on our door and window at night we called the front desk he instantly came to our room made sure nobody was outside and gave me his personal cell number and had everyone working make sure we were safe. Genuine good guy that made me and my friend feel alot at ease with our stay which most hotels wouldnt do that bare minimum. Dodgy area but great manager.

The location is awesome for native Antonions to tourists from around the globe. Every corner has at least two different restaurants; near the city transit station, and next-to two, major international highways. While we have been more of an extended stay than, just a weekend away, we’ve seen numerous rooms get a bit of new paint or furnishings here and there. Unfortunately, that’s about the most, I can say for the rooms being any kinda of decent. Now, I choose to save ‘service’ for last because Ms. Amy, truly is the best. My husband says that never in his life has he meet a person, that no matter the day, time, weather or unruly circumstances some guests is causing is always kind and sweet. She is overall just a nice person! She polite and understanding. She helpful and goes above and beyond for her extended stays! Truly the best of any hotel staff I have ever had the opportunity of visiting. If the rating was based solely on hotel staff Ms Amy would get all five of our stars!!! You’re the best!
